Type III 550 paracord is the commercial version of Mil Spec 550 Parachute Cord also known as Mil Spec Paracord or Mil Spec 550 Paracord.

We got 100 feet of ultraviolet reflective cord, cut into six foot lengths and hung every 4" on a large picture window to prevent bird strikes. Bird vision includes the ultraviolet so these cords will stand out and reflect off the glass to alert the birds to the otherwise invisible surface. Maybe Paracord Galaxy could partner with Acopian BirdSavers who came up with the idea. They have birdsaver kits and simple, easy DIY instructions and they have a photo gallery of installations using a ton of paracord. Good for our winged friends, good public relations, maybe good for more sales. Thank you!
