Type III 550 Paracord, which is the commercial version of Mil Spec 550 Parachute Cord also known as Mil Spec Paracord or Mil Spec 550 Paracord. This Poly/Nylon 550 cord is smooth and pliable which makes it nice to handle. The high 550 lb. tensile strength gives it superior strength and durability. Assorted solid, Multi and camouflage colors available. It has many uses including making key chains, lanyards, belts, slings, hammocks, shoe laces, gear repairs, survival bracelets and projects only limited by the imagination.

I loved this cord, Wild Fire, the second I saw the picture of it on the site! I bought it and prayed that it would live up to my expectations (as we all know, paracord so often does not - since photos can be deceiving, intentionally or unintentionally - and looking at images on a screen isn't the best/easiest way to judge the color of a given product). I had high hopes and figured either way, it would work out okay, since I at least didn't have to worry about the actual quality of the cord itself, as Paracord Galaxy is extremely reliable when it comes to paracord quality. This case was no different! The cord came and it's stunning. It's wonderfully soft but strong ( nylon sheath ) and the color is just incredible! If the photo of this cord caught your eye, I say B U Y I T ! You will not be disappointed! The rich, bright reds, oranges, golds are absolutely gorgeous and they contrast so beautifully with the dark, hunter green interwoven throughout - just like its namesake, a beautiful wildfire! I really tried to keep my expectations tempered, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary as this cord absolutely lived up to the photos online. Honestly, I am beyond satisfied - 100% met my expectations and then some!
I love this color for background cords on bracelets cause it pops right out at you.
